What happened to the boy when he saved his family members during the fire?

A five-year-old boy is being hailed as a hero after he woke up to a fire next to his bed on Sunday morning and made sure his family of nine was saved.

“I picked up Lily, went to the window with Lily, picked up the dog and got out,” said 5-year-old Noah Woods. Noah, Lily and their dog escaped through the window. Once they were safe, Noah went next to wake up his uncle so they could continue helping everyone escape.

“Noah Woods recently saw his bedroom on fire. The only available exit was the window. He pulled himself and his 2-year-old sister out of the window to escape the fire and re-entered the house to take the rest of the family.

Fortunately, all nine members of the family made it out of the house, and except for a small burn on Noah’s wrist, no one was hurt.
